Financial Assistance Program (FAP)
The Financial Assistance Program (FAP) is available to all candidates who have successfully completed at least one
increment of training at Officer Candidates School (OCS). FAP will provide you with two “lump sum” payments
(Nov/Jan) of $1350.00, for a total of $2700.00 for the school year. This amount will increase to $1575.00, per
semester for the following year (of enrollment) for a total of $3150.00. The maximum amount allotted is $3600.00 for
three consecutive years of enrollment in the FAP. Contact the Officer Selection Office to apply.

*College Tuition Assistance Program (CTAP)
The College Tuition Assistance Program (CTAP) is available to all candidates who have successfully completed at
least one increment of training at OCS. CTAP will provide up to $5,200 an academic year for REIMBURSEMENT of
tuition, books and fees. Contact the Officer Selection Office for details.
*Must be attending a 4 year College in order to qualify for the CTAP.

Flight Indoctrination Program (FIP)
The Flight Indoctrination Program (FIP) is available to all FULLY TRAINED, AVIATION candidates. This is a great
program that can afford you the opportunity to accumulate up to 25 hours of free flight instruction while you are still
in college. Contact the Officer Selection Officer Selection Office for additional information.

Navy Mutual Loan
A one time $5000.00 loan available to newly commissioned officers that are currently on active duty, on active duty
special work (ADSW), on temporary assigned duty (TAD) or training at The Basic School (TBS). This is a great loan
for purchase of uniforms (or anything else) with only a 1.5% interest charge on repayment! If you are interested
